Introduction

The food industry in the United States is a critical part of our economy. The industry is very closed and is run by a few large corporations controlling all aspects of their industry from production to price regulation. The government agencies like the FDA are in charge regulating this corporations the control of the safety of food, but the EPA currently does not strictly regulate the environmental factors of food production or the methods. This is the issue I plan to discuss though this blog.
